Welcome Back & Exciting Social Studies Adventures Ahead!
Dear Students and Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a restful and joyful Christmas break and that you’re feeling recharged as we begin a new year together. I’m so excited to jump back into our studies with all of you as we start the second half of the school year!
Here’s what’s coming up in Social Studies:
- 6th Grade will begin studying the roots of Hinduism. We'll dive into the fascinating history and beliefs of one of the world's oldest religions, exploring its rich traditions and cultural significance.
- 7th Grade will kick off the American Revolution. We’ll take a close look at the causes, key events, and heroes of this pivotal time in American history. Get ready for some exciting discussions and activities about the birth of our nation!
- 8th Grade will begin studying World War I. This monumental conflict shaped the 20th century, and we’ll analyze its causes, major battles, and its global impact. Expect an in-depth look at how this war changed the world forever.
In addition to our studies, we are looking forward to Catholic Schools Week (January 27 – February 1), a week filled with fun activities and community-building events! We’ll be spending time together, celebrating the special mission of our school and creating lasting memories. Get ready for a week full of school spirit and fun!
I’m looking forward to an amazing second half of the school year, filled with learning, growth, and lots of exciting discussions. Let’s make this year a great one!
Welcome back, and I can’t wait to see you all on January 6th!
Blessings,
Mr. Zenobio
