March Greetings!
With Spring just around the corner, we anxiously await warmer weather, longer days of sunshine and the beauty of flowers and green grass!
This month we continue the Season of Lent - a time for Prayer, Almsgiving and Fasting. As part of our Lenten journey, students will be attending the 9:00 a.m. Mass each Friday during Lent.
Please take advantage of the many “free” resources available on our school and parish websites to enhance your Lenten journey.
Our School Gala will be held on Friday, March 14th at Flowerfield in St. James. This is a major fundraising event for our school. This year we will honor our Pastor, Monsignor Brian McNamara.
Please keep in mind that all Transportation Requests for the 2025-2026 school year are due to your home school district by April 1st. By now, you should have received the required forms directly from your home school district. If you have not yet received the forms, those districts that provided us with their forms are posted on our school website. If your district is not among those posted, please contact your home district. Please take care of this sooner rather than later in order to avoid any issues.
This month we also honor our patron – St. Patrick. St. Patrick often used shamrocks to explain the Holy Trinity and entire kingdoms were eventually converted to Christianity after hearing Patrick's message.
St. Patrick preached and converted all of Ireland for 40 years. He worked many miracles. After years of living in poverty, traveling and enduring much suffering he died March 17, 461. He died at Saul, where he had built the first Irish church.
St. Patrick, Patron Saint of our Parish and School, pray for us!
Sincerely,
Rebecca Darmanin
Principal
