Biography

Mrs. Pacinello has been teaching at St. Patrick School since November 1998. During that time she has taught second grade, third grade, fifth grade Math and Social Studies, as well as Sixth grade Social Studies. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Italian Studies with a minor in Business Administration from Stony Brook University, a Master's Degree in Education from C.W. Post L I University and attended the Administrative Program at Stony Brook University's School of Professional Development. Her NY Permanent Certifications are: Elementary Education (K-6 grades), English as a Second Language, (K- 12 grades) and School District Administration. She was awarded membership into Phi Beta Kappa in May, 1984.

 Mrs. Pacinello is currently a Doctoral student at  St. John's University in the  School of Education  program for Administration and Supervision.
In October, 2017 an article she coauthored was published on the Social Science Research Network (SSRN).

On November 14, 2017 she successfully defended her dissertation, entitled "Factors Affecting Teacher Self-Efficacy in Elementary Mathematics".  Her degree, Doctor of Education in Administrative and Instructional Leadership, will be conferred in January, 2018.
