Welcome to First Grade

On Monday, September 25, class 1-1 will be having Apple Day.  The children will be reading and writing about apples.  The children will also be counting, measuring and creating graphs with apples.  Please send in an apple with your child on Monday.

On Tuesday, September 26 please bring in a fall leave for a fun fall art activity.

Instructions for the first grade All Saints presentations went home in your child's folder.  Please read carefully.  Further instructions will follow.  If you have any questions, please email me.

**Pencil cases will be sent home on Fridays.  Please sharpen pencils and return to school on Monday.**

Welcome to First Grade!!! In order to make the first few days in first grade go smoothly, please follow the schedule below for bringing in 

supplies:

Wednesday-  2 pencil cases
   All Folders
  2 reading workbooks 
  Math book
  Handwriting book
  Phonics Book

Thursday- All Readers
       Ziploc bags
       Paper Towels
       Baby Wipes

Friday - All other supplies
2 photos of your child and 1
family photo in a small ziploc

Please make sure that your child's name is on all folders, pencil cases and books.  It is not necessary to cover the books.

Class 1-1 has a short snack every morning.  Please pack a small healthy snack and water everyday starting the first day of school.  Please let me know if your child has any food allergies.

Please let me know, in writing, the first day of school if your child will not be taking the bus.
