Biography

Mrs. Darmanin has been teaching at St. Patrick School since 2002. She has enjoyed teaching grades nursery, first, and second. She has had the pleasure of teaching fourth grade since 2008. In addition, Mrs. Darmanin has taught in several other Catholic schools since 1989, such as St. Joseph’s in Ronkonkoma and Corpus Christi in Mineola. For a short time in between she was the Assistant Director of Miss. Dawn’s Childcare Center in Huntington.

Mrs. Darmanin began her education at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY and completed her teaching degree at St. Joseph’s College, Patchogue. She is permanently certified through New York State for grades N-6. Mrs. Darmanin received her Masters of Arts in Elementary Education, with a focus on child and family development, at Stony Brook University. She completed her Masters in School District and Building Administration at Stony Brook University.

Mrs. Darmanin has sat on Congressman Zeldin's Congressional Committee for West Point Nominations and is presently sitting on Congressman Zeldin's Congressional Task Force for Education.
